Is my motherboard defective?

Hello, the power led on my Define R4 won't turn on. Everything else works fine. I connected the Power LED cables properly and it doesn't work. I did notice that if i connect the Power LED cables to the HDD LED slot, turn on the computer and turn it back off, the LED around the power button would blink once while turning off. So is this a problem with my mother board? I just got it today, it's a MSI CSM-H87M-G43.

So, only the power led doesn't work or doesn't even get to boot? if it's only the led the issue could be in your case, or you are simply not connecting it properly, double check it to ensure its proper installation.

You're right, i contacted Fractal Design ad they said they're going to send me a spare part!
