Is my motherboard fried 89 or could it be something else??

When turning my PC on there is a brief flash of the front panel LEDs, but then nothing else happens -- no screen, fan or drive activity, nothing. At first I thought my power supply crapped out, but the results were the same after swapping in another PSU. Is my mobo dead or is there a chance it could have developed a short?

Without further trouble shooting impossible to tell! Start by stripping down to minimal components since it can be a shorted component!
