I have the RX 590 and a 550W power supply worked just fine (I have the 650W now) so run through this checklist :
-Make sure u have a 500W or higher PSU.
-Make sure the graphics card physically fits in the case like #2 said.

Here's a useful link (let's call it a bonus) : https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-290-G1-MT/66010

I would be more concerned about changing the power supply. I would also take measurements to make sure the card would physically fit in the case.
Thank you
I believe it would fit. But the reason why I am worried about the motherboard compatibility is that my motherboard is not a gaming motherboard and its uncommon.
