is my motherboard really overheating

i have an asus a8n32 sli deluxe mobo..........i recentally switched from an amd 3500 to an amd 4400 dual core........i noticed that the cpu cooler thing is quite a bit bigger...........anyhoo..............my asus pcprobe 2 gives me a warning about the mobo.....cpu is fine apparently.......but its showing it at 48 celsius.........which i thought was ok..........the settings in my pc probe have the mobo alarm set to the lowest possible setting.......which i believe is 45............is my mobo ok at 50 celsius or do i have to get another fan

Now is that the system heat ofr the Northbridge??
If its your mobo, you need to get new cooling fast, otherwise you'll be left, with ta hot mobo!! :twisted:

um dont know doesnt say in the pcprobe where just that is 50........like i said my cpu cooling thing is alot bigger than the one i had...........maybe that is interfering with it...........oh well guess ill get new fan

I beleive that is the MB chipset temp, which is cooled by that crappy litle enclosed fan, I'm not sure if there is a solution for that. <ine is running at about 50 also and I have the newer fan on mine, I know they had some problems before and replaced them...

50C? man my Asus motherboard runs around 33C without a fan
