Is my network slow?

I've upgraded a customer's network some time ago and just now testing the speed. I upgraded to CAT6 cabling and an unmanaged Gigabit switch. There are about 10 workstations on the network, all running Win7 with a 2012 server.

Right now, I am testing between two identical workstations. They are both an i3-2120 3.3 Ghz and 8GB ram, with SSD drives. Using Lan Speed Test (Lite) I'm getting 783 Mbps write and 891 Mbps read.

Does that sound normal or average?

sounds about right, you are not going to get the full 1000 mbps, this is just a theoretical limit

Thanks gbb0330! I've heard over and over about not getting the full 1,000, but I haven't seen much about what was typical.
