Question Is my new CPU compatible with my motherboard

I just got a brand new processor for free
AMD RYZEN 7 3800X.

Is it compatible with my motherboard
MSI Z170A PC Mate ?

If its not, any suggestions what motherboard should i buy?

My graphic card is MSI Geforce GTX 1070 Aero
If that makes any difference. And at the moment i have installed processor intel i5 4460k.

Please help

No it's not , your CPU is AMD and the board is Intel. You need a X570 board.

Asus have somekind of campaign if you buy the motherboard, they will pay you 65€ after you send them your receipt. Thats why i choose asus
