I have an Athlon 64 3000+ and an ASUS K8N socket 754.
I just finished to build my computer.
I wonder if 40 degrees Celsius when playing games in the internet (multiplayer) is the correct operating temperature.
It jumps from 30 degrees (when I am just browsing in the internet or doing other tasks)to 40 when playing multiplayer.
My case has a 120 mm exhasut fan in the rear and one 92 mm intake in the front besides the heatsink and fan from the manufacturer. Also I have a 120 mm fan build into my power supply that helps ventilation.
Thanks for your time.
