Question Is my new internal HDD faulty

I bought a Seagate 3tb Barracuda and it seems to work fine, but I can hear a quiet clicking noise occasionally when it's in use or idle. I ran a smart scan and it seems fine but there are warnings in HDTune which may mean it's failing.

Is the drive OK or will it fail soon?

a quiet clicking is normal for a hard drive. the sound is the magnetic actuator moving the read/write head to the proper location. they tend to get louder with age.
I default to the manufacturer supplied diagnostics.

Download and install Hard Disk Sentinel - in English it will tell you what the problem is and if it's returnable under warranty.
From reading the SMART it's still fine and not returnable, but unless you can read SMART - use HDS, it WILL save your computer life

Looks like you have 1400 Reallocated sectors, which are failed sectors that were remapped to spares & data was rescued or the sectors were empty.
Return the drive to the store if it's that new is what I would do.

No Uncorrectable Sectors (BB) are found, which is failed sectors were data was not rescued - most likely because its new the failed sectors were empty.

I don't know why B8 is highlighted, that is "End to End Errors" and that is showing a normal status.

Hey everyone, update! So I returned my drive to Seagate and they gave me a 4TB HDD (yay!) and all seems well, except there's a raw read error of over 15 million. Is this something to worry about or can I finally enjoy my drive?

You can get HD Sentinel from here and check the SMART health status and perhaps post a screen shot.

The Raw Read Error Rate value is a sector count, not an error count. Don't worry about it.
