I'm building a new system and I'm wondering if I should get a new monitor. Currently I have a 60 Hertz 1080p Dell monitor made around 2012-2014. Is my new system too overkill for it?

Ryzen 3 2200G
ASRock B450M Pro4-F
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 3000 MHz
Crucial BX500 240GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7.2K HDD
MSI GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GT OC
Cougar MG110-W
Corsair CX550M

P.S. If you can recommend any better parts still keeping the system under 1000 Australian Dollars thanks.

Its ok for 1080p 60Hz gaming. If you can I would try and get a 2400G as it has an extra 4 threads. I’d also look at the 1060 6gb or AMD 580 (4 or 8gb) instead of the 1060 3gb. Not only is 3gb a little low for some games even at 1080p it is also a cut down slower version of the 6gb variant.

I think the only upgrade I can do is the 2400G then again I only play undemanding games like Valve games, PC Building Simulator, My Summer Car and some other simulator games.
