I am buying a new P4 2.26 system. I want to transfer my old 2940UW scsi card and seagate cheetah 10.000 hd. Will the 2940UW cope or do I need to consider buying a new scsi adapter?

Any advice appreciated

It shouldnt have much of a problem working, however make sure you get the most uptodate drivers for your card to work with the P4 monsters. what SCSI are you using fast?

It's a solid card. While not exactly a U160 card, most drives are transfering at no more than 45MB/s continuous, and you have a 40MB/s card.
