Hi

I have few years old PSU - Cooler Master GX 650W working fine in my old computer
I want to build new system - MSI AM4 motherboard, Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, Radeon RX 570 GPU

all connectors looks ok when I check, but not sure if there were some changes in PSU's standards, GX 650W is discontinued,

will it work just fine ?

It will most likely work fine, but if it's very old, you should replace it at some point.

In specification of newer PSU I find this:
- ATX 12V 2.31
- EPS 12V 2.91 / 2.92 and older

from Cooler Master GX 650W specification:
- Intel Form Factor ATX 12V V2.31
- EPS version 2.91 compliant.

does this EPS 2.92 means anything important ?

It's a bad psu and it may even burn other pc components when it dies.
If you want to be safe, sell the CM trash and replace it

would Corsair HX520 be sufficient ?
seems it is Tier B from that list
