is my overclock stable on i5 8600k

Solution

That overclock will be no problems at all and for gaming it will be even cooler, so under 60 degrees...
That's absolutely fine as it is not much of an overclock especially for the blend test in Prime95. I can manage a 1.278v for a 4.9GHz on my 8700K so I think you are in the right ballpark and may even be a bit better at a higher overclock with decent cooling.

Just take it easy, run Prime95 version 26.6 on blend and small FFT's though be warned small FFT's will heat the CPU to it's max..have fun on your overclocking journey...

On an air cooler so i'm aiming for below 65degrees under game usage, and 4.7ghz at 1.216-1.238 works for me so far as i get 61degrees
