Is my PC compatible with the RX 480?

Is my system compatible with the RX 480? And do you recommend buying this card, for crossfire with the APU?

My Specs:
APU: AMD A10-5800K with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 4.30 GHz
Motherboard: Asus F2 A85-V Pro
Power Supply: Corsair CX500M
RAM: 8GB HyperX Fury
Case: Carbide Series 300R Windowed
Current GPU (to be replaced): EVGA GTX 750 TI FTW Edition

It is compatible, but not recommended. Your A10 will bottleneck the 480 and you cannot crossfire it with your A10 either.

So would it be wise to swap my APU to a CPU before getting the RX 480?

Just upgrade to a lesser video card like a RX460 or GTX950 unless you are going to get a new cpu and motherboard and everything.

Why both CPU and motherboard?
