Hello everybody, I'm thinking about getting a new 144hz monitor.
I just want to know if my actual setup is enough to get more than 60fps on games like Hearthstone, Overwatch, Diablo 3, etc.

This is what I've got:

CPU : i7-4790k (8 core) CPU @ 4.00GHz

RAM : 24 GB (8*3) DDR3

MAINBOARD : MSI B85M-G43 (MS-7823)

GRAPHICS : GeForce GTX 960 SSC 4GB

STORAGE:
- SAMSUNG SSD 850 EVO 500GB
- TOSHIBA HDD 1TB

OS: WINDOWS 10 PRO N

Solution
If you have a 1080p monitor already, just uncap the fps on the games you play and try to get to 144fps. Lower the settings until you are happy with the framerate. If you are fine with the way the games looks and are able to reach 144fps in most games you play, then you can buy the monitor. If you think the game looks ugly and/or can't reach the desired framerate, Either postpone the monitor until you have a better GPU, or buy the monitor with the intention to upgrade in the near future.
