is my pc good enough?

Hi everyone im kind of new to building pc's and its my first build. I have an asrock a75m micro atx motherboard an amd a8 3870k apu and planning on 8 gb of ram and a radeon r9 280x gpu. My question is if you guys think this would be sufficient enough to play some of the newer games on high/ultra or some older games like skyrim with some graphics mods? Thanks for any input!

An AMD A series is a bit of a waste if you will be using an add-on card.

Head over to the System section of the forum, do a search for your budget there, you will see many suggestions.

That build will be good enough, but I suggest getting the R9 380 Nitro 4gb.
