I do know there is a heavy preference to use Intel CPUs over AMD (as well as Nvidia over AMD), but I'm not sure if that is due to compatibility or not.

When I build my last PC, I used this site as a parts reference so that I would have the opportunity to possibly put OSX on at a later date.

Well, I don't see my motherboard on there so 🙁
