For the last two months I have been experiencing performance issues in games, specifically fortnite. Before this started I never had this issue.
After playing for about 30-60 minutes my game starts to feel extremely slow and sluggish and my characters movement feels heavy and there is a bad input delay. When it first happened usually restarting my pc would fix the issue.
Now, sometimes it fixes it and other times it doesnt.
I have done a clean install of windows, updated and rolled back drivers. Re installed games on both ssd and hdd. I bumped up the fan speeds so that my GPU and CPU have been staying under 60c while playing, so i dont think its an overheating issue.
I saw somewhere that someone had the same issues and that even after upgrading parts, the only thing that fixed it was switching their pc case case apparently the ambient temps were high or something like that.
Could this be my issue or what should i be looking for at this point?
