A friend gave me this PC and I had some RAM laying around so I thought I would try to upgrade from the 4 GB he originally had in the board.
The PC has a Foxconn M61PMV board.
I installed 2X4 total of 8 GBs DDR2
CPUID reports SK Hynix brand PC6400 400 MHz RAM in it.
The BIOS only sees 4 GBs of RAM but Windows and CPUID both see the full 8 GBs.
I have Windows 10 64 bit Pro installed on the PC. Its an old board and the BIOS are version P02 from July 08 2008.
How much is the computer actually using?

The bios may only support 4GB officially but Windows may be able to address the full 8GB

Only way to truly know is maybe to maybe open a bunch of browsers and try to access it all

I opened lots of tabs till the task manager said I was using 5 GB RAM and I had 3 available so I suppose it must be using all 8 GIGs
