Is my PCIe slot x16 compatible?

It sounds a little noobish, but I have been searching around the internet like a chicken without a head, trying to figure out if my mobo (an M26GT3-SVP), which is x 8 will work with x 16. I know that it CAN work if the slot if physically a x16 (but with 8 lanes), but I can't tell if the PCIe slot is x 16 or not. I'll give you the link, don't judge by what the picture says, but by what the length of the PCIe slot is.

I thought my 6800 is a x16 PCIe, but I'm not sure.
