Ok so I have been having this problem ever since i've built my pc , i have asked before and so far have gotten no help. My computer always crashes a couple minutes into playing a highly intensive game like persay Battlefield 4 or Metro last light redux etc.. and even sometimes immediately whenever i boot up Furmark. Everytime when it crashes it shows vertical colored lines. The color always depends on whats running in the background.

this was when it crashed on furmark. I wanted to know if any of you guys could hopefully help me because this has been a huge bother to me for the longest time. Most times when it crashes the audio still continues but im just unable to do anything. If it is anything im just hoping its the power supply because i did cheap out when i bought that. My Specs are : Asrock 960gm/u3s3 mobo
R9 280x powercolor turbo duo
PNY 8gb ram 1x8 1600 mhz
fx-6300
Kentek 680w PSU

Solution
It certainly looks like a PSU issue to me. This "680W" PSU is likely more a 450W in reality, and contains cheap components. YOu really want this thing out of your system as soon as possible. Never cheap out on the PSU, ever. Get a decent 550W+ unit from Seasonic, XFX, Antec HCG...
