Is my power supply good enough to run Radeon HD 5770?

That is my power supply's label... *gasp* that was difficult to put on here LOL

The Radeon HD 5770 I bought is a ASUS brand.
It requires "A minimum 500W system power supply(with 12V current rating of 40A).

I don't understand any of this so can my computer, at least, barely run this card ok. Im going to buy a new power supply in probably 2 or 3 months.

Now, i'm not too sure if this information is completely correct because it says "(optional)" after a few things on the box.

Unfortunately, that looks like a liar-labeled unit similar to some Apevia PSUs with similar labels. It is probably only a 300W PSU.
Fortunately, a good 300W PSU can in fact run a HD5770.
Unfortunately, a crappy one cannot. In your place, I would not risk it. A 380W Antec Earthwatts, or a 400W-430W HCG or Corsair Builder series would be good replacements.

MAN! That thing can fry my computer?
Ok maybe I should get a new power supply earlier than I thought.
My processor is an Intel i3-2100. Is the 380W Antec Earthwatts compatible with that. I saw the 380W Antec Earthwatts and am more interested in the 430W version, Antec EA-430D Power Supply EA-430D, because its only about $2 more. Are either of those two compatible with the processor?
You can find the rest of my computer stats on www.newegg.com. Type in "cyberpowerpc gamer xtreme" and it will be the first one at $549.99. When I got it, it was $399.

For $2 more, I'd get the 430W model also, but not to worry, the 380W Earthwatts is quite solid, and would have no trouble with a HD5770. Asus and other manufacturers overstate requirements in a futile attempt to compensate for all the overrated PSU-shaped objects out there.

Edit: Yes, such fecal PSUs can indeed fry computers, or parts thereof. Using cheap crap like that is one way vendors like Cyberpower can sell systems with such a low price.

Hows the preformance on the 6850? I have the same PSU and im planning on selling my Radeon HD 5670 and getting the XFX Radeon HD 6850 1gb. I play a couple games (Bad Company 2, Crysis 2, The Force Unleashed 2, Burnout Paradise, and i've pre-ordered Battlefield 3) so would i still be able to game? Heres my pc specs:

AMD Phenom X4 9850 2.5GHz Quad Core Black Edition 125watts
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 SATA 3Gb/s 750GB Hard Drive (i dont know how many watts it takes, i think its 8watts when its reading/writing)
4GB (2x2GB) Kingston HyperX DDR2 800/1066
Rosewill RCX-ZAIO-92 92mm Sleeve Bearing Fan CPU Cooler (i think it takes 2watts)
2 Case Fans taking 2 watts each so 6 watts total
LG CD-DVD R/RW 25watts
