hey guys i did a build at pc part picker and the estimated wattage is 215w can my300 W ATX power supply be enough or i have to buy a new psu?

there is very few 300w psus on the market, most times or are elcheapo brand and will burn your pc or house if you let them thanks to the fact that they are only 150 watts psus

the onlly real 300w psu are those tiny psus for mini itx cases or cases with weird and small sizes

most times what you need is the monimum sold from mopst companies now, a 430 or 450 watts psu

as ypou say, the calculator says that you will use half of that, but that is good , a half used psu doesn't get hot and fan won't be a source of noise on your pc

Can you link us your pcpartspicker build?

There is not really any good 300w PSUs for gaming.

A quality power supply is a must for any gaming build as even lower end GPUs still put a fairly heavy load on the PSU.
A cheap unit will not be able to handle that constant load and will die, not only that but these bargin units have no safegaurds to prevent them from damaging the rest of your parts. Thus skimping $20-30 on your PSU ends up costing you hundreds of dollars.

Great rule of thumb, never go cheap on the part that can destroy all the other parts!

You need to fix that link it is most definitely not functioning properly. 300 is a little close with the 215 estimated wattage.
