Whenever I try to launch a CPU/GPU intensive game, for example CSGO, my computer will instantly shut off. By instantly shut off, I mean, no blue screen or anything. My screen will instantly turn black, and my computer will turn off and lock itself into sleep mode. In order to take it out of sleep mode and power it back on, I have to turn the PSU off, wait 2 minutes, then flip it back on.
So far, I have....
Reinstalled windows and made sure that there was no malicious programs on my computer
Checked temperatures, nothing goes above 60 whenever it crashes
Switched ATX power cables (PSU to outlet)
After all of this, because I strongly felt that that the PSU was the cause, I looked around on google for normal voltage temperatures. Everyone that I saw that had issues, had their 12V below 12V.
In my case, it's higher than 12V. Here are all my voltages as shown by speccy.
+3.3V 3.296 V
CPU CORE 1.240 V
VIN2 2.160 V
VIN3 1.282 V
+5V 2.985 V
+12V 13.992 V
VIN6 3.104 V
VSB3V 3.296 V
CMOS BATTERY 3.280 V
I have no clue if these are good or not. As of now, I still strongly feel that the PSU is at fault for my random shut downs.
My specs are as follows.
OS: Windows 10 64 - bit
CPU: Amd FX 6300 (No, I have no overclocked my CPU or GPU)
GPU: GTX 760
HDDS: 3 one TB HDDs and a 250 GB SSD
Monitors: two 1080p 22' monitors
Ram: 10GB, one 8GB stick and one 2 GB stick (They aren't dual channeled)
and a 650W rosewill PSU
