I have a "EVGA - 600W ATX 12V/EPS 12V 80 Plus Power Supply - Black" in my 2-year old PC which I built for my video editing. The current wattage used, according to PcPartPicker is 374 watts. I am thinking of upgrading to a GPU that uses 80 watts more, totalling 450+ watts.
Someone suggested that my current PSU is a piece of junk and would not handle the requirement even though it was advertised as 600 watts.
I would like to hear from some of you and tell me that it is OK or that I need to replace it with a better one when and if I upgrade.
Thanks.
