Question is my psu bad?

Is PSU with 200w rated power and 750 generic power that bad? and will this be the reason of high consumption of electricity?

which psu are you using?
it is not optimal, but not that bad. the efficiency is not good while using this amount of wattage. but to buy a new psu with about 350W won't really shrink your power consumption

What is the make/model of the psu in question?

A psu should only use the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capability.
For most units, the most efficient use is in the middle third of the power range.
