Is My PSU compatible with GPU

my psu is Cooler Master GX-450W and i have a gtx 1060 6gb windforce.. Every game in my computer lags. Can it be a reason that my PSU lags them.

Your PSU should have plenty of power for a GTX 1060. So unless it is defective it shouldn't be the problem.

What are the rest of your system specs?

Tried every trick by the book and search engine such as, installed new windows, downgrade upgrade nvidia drivers etc.. Now comes on a conclusion may be my PSU is the real issue that why put this thread in front of you people for help

Also, what do you mean by "lags." Low FPS, input lag, generation lag, etc?

Edit: Also, I would recommend getting a new monitor... I bought 3 of those wholesale used for $5 each, and that's what they're worth. Incredibly dim, input laggy, and color accuracy is... well, worse than some CRT televisions.

Given your display's resolution (1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz), I'd probably say there's something else going on. It would appear, to me, that either there's something else running on your system that is taking up a lot of processing power (check task manager) or that your Internet connection is poor and you're not getting the response times you should be getting (or you are and you just don't realize the impact it's having).

That's not really lag... for a new game on a 1060 @ medium settings, that would be OK... were you not running at a 1280x1024 resolution. FPS that low is disconcerting... But sporadic drops of even up to 40% is quite common in games, though yours is quite violent. Could you get some GPU/CPU usage screenshots up?

Edit: Wolfshadw is correct; ensure nothing else is consuming mass system resources before going through the trouble

For example, running a GPU at x8 instead of x16 (same difference as 2 vs 3), even if the GPU is not bounded by throughput, will introduce some inefficiency... I imagine it is because the transfer rate is more limited. Obviously not something to replace a motherboard on, but it probably introduces some marginal drop in performance. So, whats the solution I mean go for new PSU then over 600 watt

Your power supply should be more than sufficient. If it was failing to power the GPU, you'd be experiencing crashes and reboots as opposed to system lag. Again, you need to be looking at what else is running on your system while you're gaming.

ok one last thing can harddrive be a factor for these slow performances... my harddrive is 2TB seagate over 4 years old

While it's certainly a possibility, you typically would not see any issues from the hard drive unless it was nearly full (over 80% used space). The hard drives in my system are pushing 10 years in age and are not causing any issues for me (85% Free space).

That should be absolutely fine.
Ensure you have a good BIOS for your MB and good drivers for your GPU. It is unlikely to be hardware based. Please use task manager to monitor performance when gaming and give CPU numbers. Is your case highly airflow restrictive? Could parts be overheating and throttling? Areany other resource-intensive hidden programs running on your PC? Use task manager to sort by memory or CPU and look for programs that you haven't opened and are not Windows.

If you could free up some hard drive space (say to about 26% free space) your lag issues, assuming nothing else is running and taking up processor time, should clear up.
