[SOLVED] is my PSU enough for GTX 1060 3GB

Hello. I'm about to upgrade my video card and I'm thinking if my power supply is enough for 1060. My old card is RX 560 and I play Apex Legends for about 5-7 hours. Mostly maxing out the usage and vram every time I play.
Although, this PSU have 6+8 pin for GPU, I'm still worried if it can handle it or not.
I'm considering buying CV450 if I have to.

System specs:
CPU: i3 9100f
Motherboard: BIOSTAR H310MHP
RAM: 16GB DDR4 2400MHz (2x8)
PSU: AEGIS 600A Gaming v2.3

Your current PSU should be replaced , but not with a CV450. Both are poor quality.

That PSU is good for ... nothing. It's a fire hazard with 2 fake and weak 12v rails and I don't believe it has 2 PCI-e connectors with the weak 12v rails. Can you post a picture of the PCI-e cable?

I know it's a fire hazard but idk how it survived in 3 years of maxing out my rx560.

Bad strategy to replace a suspect quality psu with another.

If you replace the psu, look for a quality unit with a 7 to 10 year warranty.
Such will last a long time, be safe and allow future upgrades.
Usually, you will find small differences in pricing between 550/650/750w units
As an alternative,consider a GTX1650 which does not need aux power and is in the same performance class as GTX1060.

8 + 6 pin is rated for 225w which is way more than the capacity of one of the 12v rails.

It is directly connected to PSU. Not modular.
