Is a 550w seasonic 80+ Gold PSU enough for these components?

CPU: i7 6700 stock
GPU: GTX 1080ti
RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4
MOBO: Asus Z170-A
Storage: 7200RPM HDD

Nvidia recommends a 600W. And that is just for the reference GTX 1080 Ti. Is the 1080 Ti you want factory OC'ed? Do you want to OC it it more?

I believe I have the S12G-550, so an older boy.

Same +12v specs, so it would amount to the same thing...
The 540W +12v rail should be enough, but I have always been one to want lots of headroom. But safe? yes. Absolutely.

I believe I have the S12G-550, so an older boy.

I would play it safe and get a new PSU, 650W Unit.

It's very possible that PSU won't handle a GTX 1080Ti.
