Question Is my PSU enough

im having some problems with my computer this are my specs

Ryzen 7 2700
16gb ddr4 3200
2 wd hard drives 2tb in total
1 ssd samguns 500gb
rx 5700 xt
550 w spu evga

So, the rpblem is that all the suden the gpu stops working, i think is probably because of the SPU that is not supplying enough energy.

What you guys think? should i buy a more powerful spu?

Not a good power supply , I would upgrade to a decent 650w make and model.

THE EVGA 550 N1 is one of the worst power supplies on the market today.
25c temp rating, non 80+, ancient HEC platform, literally horrible.

First, I would upgrade that to avoid disaster.

I still want to know what the issue you are experiencing is.

Agree, but if cost is an issue (the main reason id imagine someone would buy a N1 in the first place) the CX may make sense.

So unexpected shutdowns/hang. This does sound like the PSU cannot power the system properly.

Either of the PSUs above will work. If you can, go for the RM.

Name brand isn't everything unfortunately.
Many name brands make models i wouldn't put in a 5700xt system.

I would look a "pro" review before buying a PSU next time.
