[SOLVED] Is my PSU faulty?

I am having a very weird issue (that I have observed for a while) where plugging something into the mains or turning a light on will sometimes cause my computer to crash; GPU fans at 100% and black screen. Have already RMA'd by GPU (Vega 56) to no avail. Possible that the PSU is the problem?

I'm not actually at my house anymore, and the behaviour is still persistent (moved into university). Possible that both places coincidentally have power issues, but it is doubtful.

If you turn on a light and the PC crashes then there is an issue with the power.

That's something you can't get around, have it looked at.

I should also note that plugging earphones into my PC has also caused it the GPU to exhibit the same behaviour before. If it helps, the case is metal.

Sounds like a grounding issue, most all PC cases are metal.

Need to have a certified electrician look at the power.
