Is my PSU fine?

Hello,

I am making an upgrade on my gaming PC and I wonder if my current 4 years old Corsair VS650 is going to do it for like 4 years more. I know its the "worst" corsair PSUs, that's why I'm asking.

Current PC -> upgrade to
i5 7500 @ 3.8 GHz
GTX 1050ti (OC) -> GTX 1070ti will probably OC it too.
4 case fans, 1 HDD, 2 SSDs
8GB ram -> 16GB

If there is a point in upgrading the PSU as well please suggest some PSUs that will last for long and that can be used in my next builds in the future. I prefer Corsair or Seasonic.

Given the VS's poor quality and it's already 4yrs old I'd say it's already living on borrowed time. The high end Corsair and Seasonic units have 10 year warranties go for one of those of you want a psu that is going to last.

Okay thanks, so the Corsair RM650x 80+ Gold is one of those, right? What is that psu capable of powering, if i would get a RTX 2080ti and i7 8700k to my next build that i will (maybe) do in 4-5 years from now, would the RM650 do it or would the 750W version be more future proofing?

The RMx is a good psu. 650w is enough for 2080ti and an 8700k.
