Is my PSU under powered for my system?

AMD FX-9370 Eight Core
GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3
GeForce GTX 760
12 GB DDR3 ram
2 HDDs
Closed loop water cooling
2 case fans
Corsair CX500 500w

Your PSU is Tier four, not the most reliable PSU though.

Try getting a Tier two PSU, preferably Tier one if you could afford it.

For you, i suggest either M12II-620 EVO (Tier two) or X-650 (Tier one).

I mistakenly looked that you have custom water loop in it and since i don't know how much power those pumps use, i went with 600W range (to be on the safe side).
But since you have the standard AIO water cooler in it, you'll do just fine in 500W range. E.g M12II-520 EVO or S12II-520.

your psu is enough -Id be much much more concerned about you running a 9370 on that board water cooled.

The board is nowhere near good enough for that cpu.
