Is my psu wattage enough to run sli?

CPU- i5 3570
Mobo- asus p8 z77 v lk
Psu- xfx pro 750 watt gold
Hd- segate barracuda 7200 rpm, 1 tb
Optical - standard DVD/rw
Gpu - pny gtx 770 oc 2 gb
Chassis fan- 3 high performance led fans

So, I'm thinking of purchasing a second card, the same pny gtx 770 to run in sli. Would my psu cut it??

For 2 x GTX770 in SLI you need at least 850W. The XFX is a good psu. But I'd leave more safety factor than the 750W allows for.

+1 , 850w is recommended for SLI GTX770 ,You may get away with running the two cards with 750W , but a better safety margin for some headroom would be a better option for you

How much of a risk am i looking at if i decide to stay with the 750 Watt? and whats the worst that could happen?

If you don't overclock the cpu or gpu or stress the gpu in games, etc you should be OK. You could burn out the motherboard with the power supply.
