Hello, I recently brought a 5700xt to replace my gtx 970, would it be worth it to replace my cpu with a 3600. I mainly play heavily modded skyrim, 400+ mods. Thanks.

Are you monitoring utilization (CPU/GPU/RAM)? If so, what are your results?

I'm assuming the mods are putting more strain on the CPU but, depending on specifics, they may be more GPU intensive that anything else.

While the 3600 has some nice IPC gains over 1st Gen Ryzen especially, I wouldn't suggest the 'upgrade' makes a whole lot of sense, no.

I've got a mixture of heavily graphical mods and cpu intensive mods. One thing that I find strange is their isn't a difference in fps or gpu usage at 1080p or 1440p.
