I think my RAM is bad, but I'm not sure. How likely is it that my RAM is the problem? Thanks in advance.

My system:

Operating System: Windows 11
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3d
Liquid Cooling: Corsair iCUE H150i RGB Elite CPU Liquid Cooler
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6400MHz
GPU: MSI RTX3080
Case: anidees AI Crystal XL RGB V3 Full Tower
HDD: 1
NVMEs: 2
PSU Corsair RMX Series, RM850x, 850 Watt
Bios preinstalled

Regarding the problem:

Recently, my PC has started experiencing various BSODs, including 'Page Fault in Nonpaged Area' and 'Unexpected Store Exception'. Additionally, boot times seem to be getting longer over time. These issues began shortly after enabling XMP. Various files became corrupted, and there were several odd occurrences. For instance, in a browser with multiple YouTube tabs open, random videos that were paused started playing. Also, when closing one video and opening a new one in the same tab, the audio from the old video briefly played simultaneously with the new one. Sometimes, random applications would open from the taskbar. A memtest revealed no damage but did detect a faulty CPU access. Eventually, the PC displayed only a black screen during operation, with the fans and RGB functioning, but no display or BIOS.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age. You might want to run memtest and see if they show up with an issue after 10 passes. What BIOS version are you on at this moment of time?

The BIOS is the preinstalled version; I have not upgraded anything. The entire PC setup, including the PSU, is about six months old. Since my PC blackscreened, I am unable to run Memtest or acess the bios. However, a few days ago, I ran Memtest, and it found no issues except for the following message: "779092df8 expected 92650f2d actual 92654f2d CPU:1".

Your mobo has a clear cmos button you might want to try it to see if you can get a display.

I reset the BIOS and reseated the RAM, successfully booting the system. After stress-testing the PC for a while, everything seems to be functioning. However, I've noticed a significant delay in the appearance of the desktop and the loading of the taskbar. Additionally, I encountered a peculiar issue where the PC froze after a restart. Upon manual shutdown, it loaded into a completely different BIOS (AMI BIOS). Subsequent restarts returned the PC to normal operation. Upon checking the event viewer, I found numerous "ran out of memory" warnings, as well as errors and critical errors, such as "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first." This error occurred during normal operation. Additionally, there was an error related to DCOM attempting to start the service wuauserv. The Secure Boot update failed with the error "Secure Boot is not enabled on this machine." Finally, there was an installation failure for a Windows update with error code 0x80073D02, and a Windows fast startup failure with error status 0xC00000D4.
