I'm using an i7 6700 and an Evga 980Ti sc+, but surprisingly I can't get a stable 60FPS in most recent AAA games on 1080P. I haven't OC anything but considering I'm only using 1 HD monitor, never thought it was necessary. I thought the clock speed of my CPU (3.4GHZ) could have been the culprit but people told me that shouldn't be the case.
The one thing I'm not sure what I'm using is the Ram. I have a 16GB but I've no idea what they are other than their size. Could Ram cause serious bottle-necking issues?
If so, if I were to switch them, can I do so without having to worry about anything (like will it rest the system or anything like that)?
Thanks!
