Is my RAM broken?

So I flashed my BIOS to the latest version.
I can't boot into anything now. My OS won't boot, I can't use the disk to recover it because it won't boot. I have tried restarting the CMOS, I've tried setting fail-safe defaults. I've tried all of the HDD settings such as ACHI etc. Please help me, I'm stuck! I can see the USB/CD, it just doesn't boot. It normally just restarts the PC. So, is my RAM broken?

What motherboard brand and model? Did you unplug the computer and then either use a CMOS reset button or short the reset pins to do the reset? I would try another reset.

The RAM did not break, something happened to bios durring upgrade.

You will need to look up your boards help on how to restore failed bios.

I've ran the BIOS flash again, it's okay. I ran a memory test from inside the BIOS, it has 100 errors...

It's an MSI board, I'm not too sure on the modal. I took the battery out, I did have the cable out. I can get into the BIOS, so surely reseting the CMOS is the same as setting the fail-safe?

download and run memtest86 if you have a working bios now.

If the ram is in fact faulty then it was just already having an issue, the ram would not "break" from a bios upgrade

AsI said, I got some errors. I'm thinking that the voltage was set too low for the RAM and this broke it? Is that a possibility?

If your voltage was too low it could cause a lot of memory errors that would be fixed by returning the voltage to the required level. Some old DDR2 required 2.1V while some would run at 1.8V, and some DDR3 requires 1.65 while many run at 1.5V.

The voltage change could have happened when you reset the bios -- it would return to default values, which you would need to adjust for your hardware.

I've set the voltage to its required level.
Unfortunately, it hasn't fixed the problem. It's looking more likely that the RAM is faulty. Thankfully, it's under warranty.
