I upgrade my system from ddr3 > ddr4, before the upgrade my pc can boot up perfectly fine, but then i upgrade my pc im getting bsod when boot to windows normally and when trying to boot from Windows 7 DVD installer it just froze at ''Starting Windows''. After i reset cmos , my HDD not detected in BIOS. So i can only boot from DVD. But everytime i do that it froze. Currently have 1 DRAM stick only. Tried both ram channel.

Specs:

i5 8400
H310M S2
DDR4 2400mhz 4GB
GTX 970
PSU 600w

Solution
Install windows 10 on your new pc.
Windows 7 is not supported. It is possible to install windows 7, but will require additional steps like integrating drivers and OS hotfixes into installation.
Just go with windows 10. That will be much easier.
