Question Is my ram compatible with my laptop?

i have recently bought a new cpu and an extra stick of ram, and my old cpu supports ddr2-667 memory which i have one stick of in my laptop, but my new cpu supports ddr2-800 memory. i am going to have 2 sticks of 2gb ddr2-667, when my cpu supports ddr2 800. wil this be a problem, or will it be fine?
