Is my ram compatible with my motherboard?

Getting a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R mobo and 2 GB of G.Skill ddr2 667 ram, but on the mobo specs is says its standard with 800 and 1060 ram, and was wondering if my 667 would still work with it?
