[SOLVED] Is my ram compatible with my pc?

Yesterday I bought 2 new sticks of ram for my gaming pc specs are:
Amd Ryzen 5 2600 6 core processor 3.40ghz
Gtx 1050ti
ASRock A320M-DVS R3.0
Hyperx 2x4GB 1200 MHz DIMM

It is but it will underperform your cpu. I suggest you to Buy a minimum 2x4GB 2666mhz ram, but 2x4GB 3200mhz would be the sweet spot.

Yes but a couple of issues

1. If you bought two sticks of ram separately instead of in a dual channel set there could be compatibility issues with each other

2. 2400mhz RAM is quite slow for Ryzen, 3200mhz is considered minimum with 3600mhz being optimal. Your motherboard supports up to 3200mhz.

Thank You very much i have cancelled my order and will buy this now instead <3 right now i have 1200MHz of memory, is this the reason my pc is very slow and can only handle 1-2 programs at a time?In most higher spec games im getting good fps then every 2 seconds or so i get stutter or my screen freezes for like half a second?

Yes, from what you did tell us, always read Ram with x2 on it, example if its 1200 then its a 2400Mhz (since its DDR, everything doubled, but if the number is 2000+ than pretty sure it is doubled, if its a DDR4). Ryzen Running very great at 3200Mhz, you wont regret ;D

I found out earlier that one of my ram slots is faulty. Would i be able to get away with just a single 16gb stick at 3000MHz?

Better run your ram on single slot now, and invest on buying new motherboard, you dont want your ryzen on a single slot for too long, worst performance

ill only be using my pc for around another year i think, im off to university soon so ill be selling it by then.
