I recently bought a new kit of ram which is the Team Dark 16GB 2400MHz Kit and it is already compatible with my Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3. When I looked in the QVL for new pinnacle ridge processors, my kit was not there. I reached out to both Gigabyte and Team but neither solved my problem. So is my ram compatible or just does it not matter.

Solution
From what I've read the Ryzen refresh CPUs tend to have better support than the original Ryzen chips. That, combined with the fact that we aren't talking about a high speed kit, means that if it works with your existing Ryzen CPU it will probably work with a Ryzen refresh CPU on the same board.
There is a chance that despite it not being on the QVL list that it works; however, there is an equivalent chance it doesn't work. I'm more inclined to believe it'll work just fine than it not working at all.

What's the exact model of the RAM (full model ID, not just what you listed)?

Based on your mention, this is your board:

As you have, I looked over the support list and don't see the aforementioned; however, given the large number of other RAM modules by the same vendor and reports I've seen by others on Newegg with a similar predicament and who have tried memory not on the list, it was good to go though it wasn't listed. I'm still of the belief it'll work just fine. These lists can't account for everything though they do list a lot.
