Is my RAM compatible with the X99 ROG STRIX motherboard?

I have a Corsair Vengeance 2x16 GB 3200MHz LPX kit.

How compatible is it with my motherboard?

Is it different from 4x8?

It will work fine, though only in dual channel mode, I'd go 4x 8 if wanting 32GBV, utilizing quad channel improves not only DRAM performance but overall system performance also. I'm running 4x16GB on my Strix (in sig), but have also ran 4x8, 2x8 and 2 x16 - much better with a 4x setup 😉
