Is my RAM compatible?

So I tried switching my 8 GB RAM sticks with 16 GB

Old Stick:

New Stick:

When I tried turning my desktop computer on, there was only a beeping noise and nothing happened.

Motherboard:
System Manufacturer: Acer
System Model: Aspire T3-710
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. R01-A2
BIOS Mode: UEFI

From what I can tell they are both DDR3.

The original module is DDR3L (1.35V) and you bought DDR3 (1.5V) modules. You need to buy DDR3L memory like http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct102464bd160b
