I purchased 4x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4 3200 F4-3200C16Q-16GVKB from Newegg.

On the BIOS on my ASUS Z170-AR, it’s stating under DRAM Status: DIMM_A1: G-Skill 4096MB 2133MHz.

This is supposed to read 3200 MHz, correct?

Solution
Not until you enable XMP. All sticks start at stats dictated by JEDEC profile, or 2133 in this case. Enable XMP in BIOS to reach full speed.
