I just bought a 8gm ram stick from a brand called KANMEIQI. Only the stick plugged in and the system wont boot (doenst even have the click sound from the mobo). If i use it with my current 8gb stick it will boot and windows detect as 16 gb (8 usable). HWINFO also detects as 16gbs so here's my doubt: is there a problem with the stick or there's something i can try before talking to the costumer's service?
More info:
Bios up to date
Mobo version: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
The 2 memory sticks have the same frequency
Here's a screenshot of the memory with HWINFO:

You're advised to always pair your rams when yo upgrade, as opposed to mixing and matching. If you can't find the same stick of ram, you're advised to buy a dual channel ram kit.

There are two PCB revision's listed per Gigabyte's support site. Which one is it and which BIOS version are you currently on?
