Hi im currently using athlon 5350 (am1 socket) it says in the manual it's using ddr3 dimm 240pin ram i got 2x4gb
exact model:
Silicon Power, SP004GBLTU160N02
i purchased ga-h57m-usb3 (1156 socket) and i wanted to put the ram mentioned above in this motherboard
but it wont fit into the ram socket,it will only fit if i turn it upside down.
So i put it upside down and it wont boot, motherboard is showing 1red,1yellow and 2 green lights,i took 1 ram out and left 1 in and it booted,i saw starting windows thing and again it showed the colours and went in infinite loop of trying to boot any help ?
(i unpluged my dvd rw idk if that has to do with not booting to os )

First make sure memory is in the 2 white memory slots.
Second this is a new motherboard, which means you need to reinstall windows, not a reset, not a repair, a full format and fresh install.
Without a new windows install you could be chasing problems forever.
honestly im just gonna get it to pc shop so they can fix it or what ever
