I have a query about my ram which is 2GB DDR2 667mhz and its single channel. Motherboard Config INTEL 945 CHIPSET PI945Z--FSB 1066--DUAL CHANNEL SUPPORTED (DDR2 667)--SOCKET 775. I am having PHEONIX BIOS V6.00 PG. Operating Systm is Windows 7 Ultimate. So now back to the query, while checking my memory config with CPU-Z my memory frequency was showing 266mhz. Isnt it supposed to be 333mhz?
  1. So is it ok .
  2. Or if it isnt then please guide me step by step for making the adjustments :) .
I am attaching the screenshots for better details.

Normally you need to set BIOS memory parameters. Intel developed Extreme Memory Profile (Intel XMP) DDR3 Technology in 2007 which made setting memory parameters a simpler process than on previous DDR2 motherboards.

Just set memory parameters manually in BIOS according to the memory manufacturers recommendations.

Memory Clock Speed
DRAM Timings
DRAM Voltage

I appreciate your quick reply, but i dont know what is recommended, i mean the exact values that i wud be putting in those points :( .........i am a bit of noob so can u please .....tell me the values :) ?

Ooh i just noticed ........the doc u linked is starting from DDR3.....there is no DDR2 :(
