This will be my first PC build and I just want to check that everything is compatible.

My parts are listed below:

Motherboard: ASUS M578 LX-plus
CPU: AMD-FX6350
GPU: Nvidea GeForce GTX 970 STRIX
PSU: EVGA 80 plus bronze 500W
Case: NZXT S340
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212
SSD: Samsung 128GB
HDD: Seagate Desktop 1TB HDD
RAM: Im buying the CPU, RAM, and Motherboard off of my cousin so i know they are compatible(I dont know the name Of the RAM)

Yes. You're good to go with that. The power supply is sufficient for your build and has all the proper connections. Everything else looks fine.

He is only using the CPU, MotherBoard, and RAM. He is selling it to me, all the other parts are new, for example does the PSU have the right connectors for the MoBo and does it supply enough power? stuff like that.
