Yes, Your rig will work fine, if can you get the GTX 960, then get that.It will be best for you for gaming. Remember dont overclock with that PSU as corsair's PSUs are budget PSUs and not meant for Overclocking. You can Do gaming....:)

Well, the GPU is going to be a gift, so the 280X was the maximum I could take, and I don't think on OC c:

I like both, they have what I want, one is less expensive than the other, I wouldn't have problem in take a GTX 970 G1 Gaming, only money, lol

Huge? Not sure about that. While Gigabyte does have good boards, they would want something with a higher-end chipset. A 990 board would suit better. I know someone that got a 6.2ghz overclock with a 6300 on a 990 board.

Just my two cents. My Asus 970 board had hot chipsets while running stock.

I can't afford a 990 board, in my country is expensive, even the GA 970A-UD3P is around $110 :/ I'm from Mexico

970A-UD3P has 8+2 power phase design . it s enough for FX 6300 . Even the mobo he has picked will serve well but not great for overclocking.

At most I can see up to 4.5ghz of an overclock, but they also need a decent cooler. Hyper 212 or Deepcool Lucifer are two not-bank-breaking coolers that can work.

Anywho, best of luck OP!
